CTLA2012 - Toronto
Transportation issues in a global economy
InterContinental | Toronto | Yorkville | September 26 - 29, 2012
On behalf of the Executive and Board of Directors of the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association, I cordially invite you to the 2012 CTLA Annual Conference (CTLA2012). Our conference is open to lawyers and other professionals who have an interest in transportation law. This year, we are pleased to offer a three-day educational programme, featuring experts from across the US, Canada and Mexico who will analyse and explain the complex issues confronting the transportation industry in today’s global economy.
We are delighted that CTLA2012 will once again take place in the heart of Toronto's chic and exclusive Yorkville area, Canada’s premier shopping, dining and cultural centre. Our venue for the conference, the InterContinental Hotel (Yorkville) is surrounded by the historic architecture and inviting green spaces of the University of Toronto's St. George Campus, and is literally steps away from a plethora of iconic cultural spots, including the Royal Ontario Museum, now featuring the dramatic Michael Lee-Chin Crystal (a Daniel Liebskind design), the new recital halls at the Royal Conservatory of Music, the Bata Shoe Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario (recently redesigned by Frank Gehry), and the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.
CTLA members, young lawyers, and firms that send multiple delegates to this year's conference will all benefit from reduced registration fees. Our educational program is expected to meet CPD/CLE accreditation requirements. As always, our programme will include a broad range of exciting networking opportunities. Join us in Toronto, and experience the warm hospitality that has became a hallmark of every CTLA event! The complete conference programme will be published on our website shortly, at www.ctla.ca.
Your visit to Toronto will coincide with two of our city’s most beloved cultural festivals: the internationally acclaimed Toronto International Film Festival, and Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, a sunset-to-sunrise celebration of contemporary art. Toronto will be a hive of activity during CTLA2012, so you really will not want to miss out. Please make your hotel room reservations now, at the InterContinental Hotel (Yorkville). Call +1.416.960.5200 or 1.800.267.0010, or CLICK HERE. Be sure to refer to Block Code JH2 to receive the special CTLA rate of C$235.
See you in T.O.!
